The goals of Nova Scotia Bikeways Coaltion are:

1. Oversee implementation of the new bikeways strategy
2. Support NS municipalities and regions in developing bikeways committees and plans
3. Equip municipalities and regions with the tools required to create bicycle-friendly environments
4. Act as a clearinghouse of information on bicycling
5. Ensure continuity between related municipal, provincial and federal projects
6. Collaborate with provincial government in establishing bikeways infrastructure and policy in Nova Scotia
